Mrs L Flynn
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
I am thrilled to be Principal of Radlett Prep School and am very excited to share my passion for educating curious minds, nurturing aspiration, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning with the whole community. For me, the power of education lies in providing children with keys to unlock the doors to their future, ensuring children are equipped with the transferrable skills to flourish in an ever-changing world with ambition, humility, and kindness.
It is my firm belief that when children learn within an educational environment which fosters warmth, creativity, inclusivity, and courage, they will embrace academic challenge, broaden their minds to diverse and exciting ideas and value the benefits of engaging in cocurricular opportunities. As Principal, there is no greater pleasure than watching this journey as pupils move from their earliest years through to the end of Year 6 and beyond.
I welcome you to come and join us on a tour of the school, to see the benefits and feel the buzz of a Radlett Prep education, for your child.
Mrs J Warren
Link Director for Safeguarding
I have been Vice Principal, Co-proprietor and Director of Radlett Preparatory School since 1994, with my husband, Mr Warren who retired as Principal in 2013. I take great pleasure in following the school career of every child as they develop their talents, grow in confidence and learn the life skills needed to make that important transition to their senior school. I have a particular interest in Drama and produce and direct all the Reception and Year 1 festive productions held in December and the Year 6 end of year production which is held at the Radlett Centre. I am involved in the ongoing appraisal of staff and oversee all matters concerning the school fees and school uniform.
Ms Le Marchand
I am delighted to be joining Radlett Prep as Vice Principal at such an exciting time for the school. I believe that schools should be places where children are encouraged to achieve outstanding results, not just academically, but physically, emotionally and morally. Radlett Prep’s core values and inclusive, family feel really resonates with my own life ethos and I shall be totally committed to helping every child to be a happy, well-rounded individual with the confidence and skills to thrive in the modern world.
Ms G Collings
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (Maternity Leave)
In my role as Middle and Upper School Leader, it is my priority to ensure that all children have every opportunity to develop their potential. I am honoured to work in a school which strives to develop a lifelong love of learning in each pupil and understand the importance of working collaboratively with parents to achieve this.
It is also of great importance to me, to ensure that all Radlett students have access to a well-ordered and broad curriculum, which we regularly review and develop, in order to prepare them for a successful transfer to secondary school.
Mrs C Foster
Designated Safeguarding Leader
Beginning my time at Radlett Preparatory School as a Reception class teacher, I was especially pleased to be appointed Lower School Leader. Having undertaken an Early Childhood Studies degree, I believe that the foundations and early experiences we provide for our pupils are essential. In my role, I thoroughly enjoy developing a curriculum that is designed to inspire the children, sparking interest and promoting creativity and curiosity.
Working in partnership is an important part of my role and I am honoured to share in over-seeing our children develop in confidence, independence and resilience, alongside proud colleagues and parents. Preparing our pupils for the transfer to secondary school starts from their very first day in Reception, and it is extremely rewarding to play a part in supporting both the children and parents along this journey.
Mr R Pillinger
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
I have worked at Radlett Preparatory School since 2000. As Head of Physical Education and Games I believe that it is vitally important for children to strive for excellence at whatever level, encouraging children to make the best of their abilities. Since my appointment in 2017 of Upper School Leader, I have been in the privileged position of seeing the children develop and fulfil their potential within the classroom as well as on the sports field.
