Radlett Preparatory School Online Safety Recommendations
The internet is fun and exciting for children to use and explore both educationally and socially. Your child/children are taught to be safe, competent and creative users of technology at school. Our new computing curriculum has online safety embedded throughout. The challenge for teachers, parents and guardians is to ensure our children are aware and understand how to be safe when using the internet and related technologies independently.
Are you are asking yourselves these or similar questions:
Are your children safe online?
Should you leave them alone with access to the internet?
What are children doing online?
Is there anything you need to do?
If you are thinking or have asked any of the above or similar questions then please find below a link to our National Online Safety website.
You can join our certified school community as a parent to access courses, videos, guides and much much more!
The National Online Safety package is being used by over 34,000 schools, RPS has subscribed to the whole school package.
I hope that you find this information helpful. Please feel free to contact me at school if I can be of further help.
