A very warm welcome to Radlett Preparatory School. We pride ourselves on laying the foundations for future success through combining academic excellence whilst celebrating childhood within a small and nurturing environment with a real family feel. We provide outstanding education for girls and boys from the age of 4-11, however the end of Year 6 when pupils head off to senior school is not where our thinking ends. Whether designing the curriculum, planning trips or supporting pupil wellbeing, our core school values are designed to prepare our children for life beyond Radlett.
The power of education lies in providing children with keys to unlock the doors to their future, ensuring children are equipped with the transferrable skills to flourish in an ever-changing world with ambition, humility, and kindness. Watching this journey as pupils move from their earliest years through to the end of Year 6 and beyond is truly a privilege.
As a family school, we build strong partnerships between home and school so that we enable pupils to thrive in all areas of school life, recognising and nurturing each child’s individual strengths, interests and talents.
Highly skilled teachers deliver learning, which is both challenging and creative, fostering robust links between subject areas so that children love to learn. Academic excellence is not achieved through ticking boxes, but by genuinely developing pupils’ natural curiosity in the world around them. As a result, academic achievement is excellent and our pupils move on to a range of highly selective schools at the end of Year 6, many receiving scholarships.
Our children’s wellbeing is of the utmost importance and through our dedicated pastoral team, mindfulness programme and pastoral curriculum, we ensure that our children are supported and equipped with the skills to manage any situation.
I welcome you to visit the school at one of our admissions events or on a private tour, to see for yourselves the benefits, joy and the buzz of a Radlett Prep education, for your child.
