On Tuesday, 6th February Year 6 went to visit a local Gurdwara, as part of their RE studies of places of worship. During their time at the Gurdwara, the children had an opportunity to explore the vibrant customs and traditions of the Sikh community and learn about profound teachings of the 11 gurus and the rich historical narrative of Sikhism. They have asked many insightful questions and demonstrated interest and respect for Sikh practices. Special thanks go to Mrs Singh for her invaluable help in organising this trip.
