On Tuesday 11th October, girls football was celebrated with a several events throughout the day. Students from across Years 3-6 were invited to the very first ISFA football festival hosted at Westbrook Hay for International Day of the Girl.
The children had the opportunity to take part in different skills sessions led by ISFA coaches followed by mini matches against other schools. Players were able to develop their skills and mix with other children from different schools.
In the afternoon, the U11s had their first tournament of the season and hosted various schools for the district tournament hosted at Radlett Prep. The girls got off to a good start, demonstrated some great phases of play, and progressed to the final against HABS. Earlier in the tournament they came away with a draw against HABS, however with fantastic work rate and determination from all players Radlett Prep came away winners with a 3-0 Win. Well done to Micah who kept a clean sheet in goal. The girls will now progress to the county finals which will be hosted next year.
