On 14th September, Art Club had the exciting opportunity to visit the Henry Moore Studios and Gardens in Much Hadham. 
They explored the gardens where they were taught about the large, bronze sculptures and the inspiration behind them.
They also examined his collection of interesting stones, animal bones and small sculptures in his studios.
Lastly, the children enjoyed sketching the sculptures from a range of viewpoints and sharing their work with each other.
As well as the staff sharing their knowledge, we were lucky to have Mr.Warren share his wealth of knowledge and the children were excited to learn that he had actually met Henry Moore! The sunshine was glorious, and we had a fantastic, inspiring day!
