It was wonderful to finally welcome in a guest speaker into school to mark Science week for the Year 5 students. Science teacher, Mr Hobbs from Haberdashers, had our children completely enthralled with demonstrations and experiments involving gases. 
He provided a practical exploration of some common gases and discussed some of their properties, showing children how gases can ignite and reignite. The pops and bangs from the hall, had neighbouring classes wondering what was going on! The children were truly amazed and excited, as well as being enthused and informed.
