This year’s World Book Day was a delightful event! Our theme this year was poetry and pupils came dressed as book characters and adjectives, to embrace descriptive language.
The children had a lot of fun guessing which teacher was reciting their favourite poem in our game of The Masked Poet!
We were lucky enough to have a virtual visit from author and poet, Joseph Coehlo. He inspired the children to write and perform their own poetry.
