Today, 5W visited Mill Green as part of their DT curriculum. The children participated in three different activities. 
They saw how the mill worked and saw grains being ground into flour.
Their second activity was to build a mill out of Lego! Not so easy for some of us! The final activity was to make their own bread. The children are very excited to be tasting that later!
The bag of bread smelt wonderful the return coach ride to school! We were lucky enough to sit outside in the warm sun for our lunch.
The children behaved impeccably and were a credit to the school.
