Over the Half Term holiday, the children were set a task of creating a 3D Woodland Trust design. This is to celebrate the trees that were being planted in the school grounds. The trees were kindly donated by the Woodland Trust.
The entries that we received for the design competition were of such a high standard, it was very difficult to choose the winners. It was wonderful to see how creative the children had been! Some designs used a range of recycled materials as well as leaves, twigs, sugar, rice, Lego and different coloured beads.
All the children that entered received 5 house points.
The Highly Commended winners received 10 house points each and the winner from each year group received 20 house points. The year group winners were invited to a special tea with the Senior Leadership on Tuesday 16th November.
The children had great fun planting the trees and some of the parents came to help.
Well done everyone, your designs were simply fantastic.
