UPDATE – UPDATE – UPDATE – 26/01/2021
Some of the items have already been collected by some of the staff at Watford Hospital. The staff are ‘completely bowled over’ and everything is being distributed fairly amongst the staff.
MONDAY – 25/01/2021
Although we only have some children currently at school it doesn’t stop us trying to help our amazing NHS who are working under the most difficult of circumstances.
The staff at Watford General Hospital have been asked what would help them through this terrible time. Amongst the items requested were glucose tablets, cartons of drink, shower gel and also ‘Notes of Hope’. We have quickly got to work asking all our families for any donations that they could send in and we have been overwhelmed with their generosity. All the children in school have been writing messages on cards to the staff at the hospital and it will all be dropped off towards the end of w/c 25th January.
There is still time to drop items off – here is the full list:
Lip balm
Notes of hope 💗
Non greasy hand creams
Individual mini choc bars
Metatarsal sleeves
Glucose tablets
Boxed juice
Deodorant
Shower gel
Refreshing face masks
Drop off times will be 8.15am-8.40am and 3.pm – 3.25am.
The deadline is Friday, 29th January.
Once again, thank you everyone for your donations.
