On Wednesday 9th December, Year 5 children experienced a ‘Victorian Day’. They were dressed up and looked amazing as children from the Victorian era. Well done!
During the course of the day, all children did PE drills and practised some typical Victorian playground games. They have also took part in a Victorian English lesson, where they had to write in a neat cursive script, using a slate board and pen, and a Victorian Maths lesson, where they recited tables, looked at Victorian money and discussed the conversion rates of the coins/notes; they have always solved some Victorian Maths problems and completed a Victorian Quiz.
We hope that everyone had a good day and learnt a lot from the different activities.
