Today the children in Year 1 went down to the woods to post their letters in Santa’s sack that appeared yesterday! They also returned his special hat, that the naughty elves had stolen! 
The children thought it would be nice to leave a treat for Santa and his reindeer, so they took a bunch of fresh carrots and a plate of delicious mince pies! They will go back to the woods tomorrow, to see if Santa has been to collect his sack…
