Year 1 children have had a very exciting morning! Santa has had his hat taken by the elves and the children were given a very important mission to help Santa find his hat. All the children wrapped themselves up warmly and put on their wellies then headed off to the woods, where apparently there have been some clues left.
They were all very excited to help Santa. They explored the school grounds and discovered that their naughty elves had teamed up and hidden the special hat. Santa also left a sack for the children and asked them to write him letters. They will be posting them tomorrow in the sack…
Reception and Year 1 also had a party today in the hall. Each class went in separately and Captain Calamity entertained them and amazed them with some magic! The children really had a great time. We could hear them giggling and shouting from the Hall right into the school office.
Our Year 2 children also had their party this afternoon. They all made hats to wear, there really were some very elaborate hats and the children looked fantastic.
All the children have been posting their cards this week and they will all be handed out next week.
There is a jar of sweets in the hall and all the children have been asked to guess how many sweets are in the jar. The child who guesses the nearest amount will win a prize!
