Our Year 4 children today dressed up in traditional Greek costume and were visited by “Portals from the Past”, a drama group. They brought with them many Greek artefacts, which the children could study and handle. 
The day provided opportunities for cross curricular work, including history, drama, literacy and many more. 
The children will be given an insight into life in Ancient Greece, Greek gods, education, slavery and the military. There was also a demonstration for the children at the end of the day.
There were some wonderful and creative costumes worn by the children and they thoroughly enjoyed their day.
