Turnout for the Radlett Prep School General Election was excellent. 89% of the eligible pupils were able to cast their vote for four main political parties (Conservative Party, Labour Party, Liberal Democrats and Green Party). There was a queue at door at 8:10am with children eager to be the first to vote.
Attendance at all three sessions was excellent. By 1:00pm, we were able to close the vote.
The support from the Year 6 House Captains and Vice Captains was phenomenal. They were efficient Election Officials, recording who voted, guiding the voters and finally counting the ballot papers.
The results will be revealed to the children this week.
