Our Year 6 children have recently returned from their week long visit to France. They travelled by coach and on arrival visited Vimy Ridge. On day two they had a morning of activities followed by a visit to Chateau du Fontainbleau which the children apparently loved.
In the evening they had a campfire and toasted marshmellows which was great fun. They have been zip wiring, swimming and playing football amongst other exciting things.
On Tuesday they visiting Brie Comte Robert Market and Town Trail. They went shopping in the market and purchased a variety of goodies. They also went to Des Lis Cholcolat where they made chocolate and a mess! This was followed by more mess whilst making crepes in the evening.
Wednesday was a morning of activities and in the afternoon they went to Provins, to see the show Legends of the Knights. Thankfully the weather has remained warm and sunny since Monday afternoon and ice cream has been consumed quite regularly.
On Thursday the children were taken to Paris and visited the Eiffel Tower which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. This was followed by lunch by the River Seine and then a visit to Montmartre/Sacre Coeur.
In the evening they had a disco! All the staff were very excited about that!
They all returned home safely and had had an amazing time.
