On Tuesday 12th March 30 children from Radlett Prep took part in an indoor athletics competition at Yavneh College.
Children took part in up to two track and two field events. On the track, children were involved in a range of relay races in the sports hall. The skill was to combine running speed with a quick turn at either end of the sports hall. In the field events we had some fantastic performances in the chest push and the vertical jump in particular. Children also took part in the speed bounce, soft javelin and standing long jump. This was the first time our children had taken part in an indoor athletics competition and they all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the experience. Well done to everyone who took part!
