Athletics Win!
Year 5 took part in the Borehamwood area athletics tournament at Merryfield school on 5th July against 12 local schools. Our children took part in a range of running, jumping and throwing events. They did fantastically well to win this event and, as a result, qualified for the Watford and Hertsmere School partnership finals on Tuesday 10th July at Queens School. There were 6 school competing in this event and once again Radlett came out on top! There were some amazing performances from all the children who took part. Well done to everybody!
Cricket Win!
Our U11 cricket team have has a fantastic season. They reached the final of the U11 hard ball competition eventually losing to a tough Merchant Taylors Prep team. To reach the final was an amazing result as they beat some very good schools on the way to the final. They didn’t let this disappointment affect them as they won the Borehamwood district kwik cricket tournament at Merryfield School on 12th June. The boys then qualified for the partnership finals at Watford Boys School on 19th June and once again came out triumphant! The boys did fantastically well to win both tournaments against some very good opposition.
