In September, we were invited by Alison Rubinson, from the Radlett Society & Greenbelt Association, to help them create a “bee corridor”. Bees play an essential role in keeping our eco-system balanced and healthy. Along with other local Radlett schools we were given some wildflower seeds to plant and grow, allowing bees and other pollinators the food, shelter and safe passage to fly between habitats.
Our Eco Warriors were presented with the seeds by Alison and have since planted them in our school fields. We will keep you updated with how our “bee corridor” is growing throughout the year.
