Year 3 have had a truly out of this world science lesson this week, when Astronaut Sklar came to deliver an online lesson.
The children were learning about what astronauts need to stay alive in space and how space suits are designed. Thanks to the amazing design skills of Mr Goodman, Mrs Sklar was able to explain in detail what all the components are and their function. Thanks are due also to Miss Turvil who filmed the ‘astronaut’s’ entrance and to Miss Chaney who took the photos.
A memorable lesson indeed!
